This manuscript consists of Ulrich Boner's Edelstein ('The Jewel'), written c. 1349 (source). It is a collection of one-hundred fables, principally based on those of Avianus and the Anonymous Neveleti (source). It is copiously illustrated with pen-and-ink drawings.
