This sparsely illustrated edition of Jean de Joinville's Vie de Saint Louis is thought to have been produced in 1330-40 (source). It was transcribed by a single copyist - the same as that of the Vie et des Miracles de Saint Louis (BNF Fr. 5716) (source).
It contains two half-page illustrations, done in colours and gold. The decoration is thought to have been painted by Mahiet, who also worked on BNF Fr. 5716 (source).
