King David playing bells, f. 46r.

Colloquial name(s): Brevarium ad usum Fratrum Minorum
Official name(s): Bibliothèque nationale de France, Latin 128

Date: 1330-50 (source)
Origin: France (source)

This manuscript is a Franciscan breviary, as evidenced by the festivals of St Francis (source). It is illustrated with small vignettes in Pucellian style which are suggested to have been produced by the Master of the Life of Saint Louis (BNF Fr. 5716), who is often considered to be Mahiet (source).

Basic descriptions of the illustrations are provided by at Gallica (click on the 'i' icon on the left-hand side of the screen).
