This manuscript was transcribed by two copyists (the first copying ff. 1r-127v, the second ff. 128r0143v) (source). Its decoration has been ascribed to the Master of Fauvel (named after his illustration of the Roman de Fauvel - BNF Fr. 146), who was active in Paris between 1314 and 1340 (source). The manuscript contains a frontispiece painting with 3 stages plus 49 paintings which are the width of two columns (source).
