This manuscript contains a calendar (ff. 2-7v), Psalms (ff. 8-109), Canticles (ff. 109-116v), prayers and a litany (source). It has several illustrations including a number of historiated initials containing images of people, usually biblical. It is thought to have been made for Queen Philippa of England (wife of Edward III) between 1328, the year of her marriage, and 1340, when Edward III marked his claim to the French throne by changing England's heraldic crest, quartering the three English lions with French fleurs-de-lys (source).
Basic descriptions of the illustrations are provided by the British Library with the facsimile.
