This manuscript consists of four mis-bound leaves from an antiphonary (ff. 1r-4v), Beatus of Liébana's Commentary on the Apocalypse (ff. 5v-217v), Isidore of Sevile's Etymologiae (ff. 218r-219v), Jerome's Commentary on Daniel (ff. 220r-266r) and some miscellaneous texts (ff. 268r-279v) (source). It was produced at the Benedictine monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos (source). It was begun under Abbot Fortunius in 1091 by the scribes Munnio and Dominicus, continued under Abbot Nunnus and completed under Abbot Johannes on 1st July 1109 (source). The illuminations were produced by prior Petrus (source). This information is known due to a note on f. 6v and colophons on f. 275v, 267r, 276v, 277v and 278r (source).

The antiphonary leaves, Commentary on the Apocalypse, Commentary on Daniel and the miscellaneous texts are all illustrated (source). The Commentary on the Apocalypse is also illustrated with a double-page map on f. 39v-40r (source).
