This copy of Le Roman de Tristan is scattered with a few historiated initials which contain charming scenes from the life of Tristan. It was perhaps in the inventory of the Gonzaga family library in 1407 and retains the original Gonzaga binding of stamped leather with motifs including suns and dogs with collars (source).
